Favorite Songs of Stalkers

6. "I Will Follow You", by Ricky Nelson
"I will follow you
Follow you wherever you may go
There isn't an ocean too deep
A mountain so high it can keep me away"
5. "I will Follow", by U2
If you walkaway, walkaway
I walkaway, walkaway...I will follow
4. "The Power of Love", by Air Supply
Even though there may be times
It seems I'm far away
Never wonder where I am
'Cause I am always by your side
3. "I'll Drive All night" by Celine Dion
So just remember -
I'm gonna make you mine
I'm gonna drive all night
till the morning light
I'm gonna roll till dawn
with the windows down
and the radio on
You know I'd drive all night
just to hold you tight
2. "Nothing Can Keep Me From You" by Kiss
Wherever you are, that's where I'm gonna be
No matter how far, you'll never be that far from me
Some how I would find you, move heaven and earth to be by your side
Oh, I'd walk, this world to walk, beside you
1. "I'll Be Watching You" by Sting
Every breath you take
And every move you make
Every bond you break
Every step you take
I'll be watching you
0. Christmas Bonus Stalker Song:
He sees you when you're sleeping
He knows when you're awake
He knows if you've been bad or good
So be good for goodness sake!
O! You better watch out!
You better not cry.
Better not pout, I'm telling you why.
Santa Claus is coming to town.

The Christmas bonus reminds me of an old Calvin and Hobbes cartoon. Calvin is reading the lyrics:

He sees you when you're sleeping
He knows when you're awake
He knows if you've been bad or good

...and he looks up at the reader and says something like, "Santa Claus: Jolly old elf, or CIA spy. You decide."

(And I won't even think about mentioning what we used to do to the words to "I Will Follow Him", as sung by Little Peggy March, back in my youth, no, no.)

You forgot Sarah MacLachlan's "Possession".

And Reel Big Fish's "Skatanic".

And I would walk 500 miles
And I would walk 500 more
To be the man who walked 1,000 miles
To fall down at your door

Surrender
Surrender

Which is pretty spooky if you think about it...
